Daddy Time

"My Daddy Give the Best Hugs"
Spending time cuddling with Daddy.  What could be better?
Daddy sure loves these special times!
Kaden has a hard time being still...  so we are constantly on our guard when we get the joy of cuddling them both at the same time.  Watch out for flying feet!

Pregnant with Kindi

I just realized that I never posted about my maternity pictures!  My cousin Heather came and did them for us!  I have the photo backgrounds and lights and things, but I needed someone else to take the pictures for me!  I do have a tripod, but using a timer with a 15 month old... yeah, I would never get anything good!  So I called my lovely and talented cousin up!  She also did all the editing for me... which is something that I can't really do yet.  One of these days I will find the time to learn how to do it though.
These were taken only 6 days before my Kindi surprised us by coming early.
So I think this may be my favorite of all!  My sweet little boy playing with Sissy's shoes.  But mostly I think I just really like what she did with the coloring, I don't know what it is about it, but I love  it!
I think this is the one that we are going to put on our wall, but I haven't made that my final decision yet.
Jeremy being Jeremy.  :)
Want to know something incredible?
Jeremy isn't actually in this picture!  Okay, that isn't entirely true, he is actually on the other side of me on his knees showing Kaden how to kiss his sister.  Heather photo shopped him in!  Way to go Heather!
I love this one too.  Kaden is actually trying to lift up my shirt so that he can tickle my tummy, but no one has to know that right?  We just pretend that he is excited about having a sister!

So Heather had this great idea...
She made paint out of baby lotion, a little bit of soap and powdered tempera paint.  Then Jeremy and Kaden painted on my belly.  It was a lot of fun.  Kaden had a blast and the pictures turned out really cute.  Jeremy wrote 'KINDI' and then showed Kaden how to do the rest!  Kaden and I were pretty messy when we were done.  I tossed Kaden in the bath then just used a warm washcloth to wipe my belly off.  Since it was mostly lotion my tummy felt all nice and soft when we were done!

Such a serious look!
So... I absolutely can not stand to have my belly button touched!  It feels so yucky!!!  Kaden of course wants to stick his little fingers in it every chance he gets!  Ornery little boy!

Visitors for Kindi Kae

Kindi has had lots of visitors since she was born. I even have pictures of most of them. I did forget to take my camera when I took her to visit Great Grandma Wilson though. And I didn't get it out when Jackie came to visit or the Rouse family, hmm or the neighbors... okay so maybe I didn't do so well. That was silly, I will have to remedy that! I am finding it very difficult to get as many pictures as I would like because I have to protect her from Kaden! So I can't just set her down and take pictures of her. :) Kaden adores her now, but he can be a little bit rough and he is a klutz. I have saved her from being squashed by him multiple times already!
So here are the pictures that I DID remember to take!
Grandma Wilson was there for the delivery.
Kindi is so blessed to have so many people that love her!
'Aunt' Mo-gee
Morgan babysat Kaden for us while we were in the hospital! We love her tons!
Grandma Wells
Jeremy's parents and niece raced down to the hospital and managed to make it before Kindi made her appearance! They were so sweet to care for Kaden while we stayed in the hospital that night.
Cousin Jacy
Grandpa Wells
Grandpa Wilson
Papa, why do you have that baby in your arms? I don't know if I like her!
'Aunt' Julie was sick the day Kindi was born so she had to wait a few days before she could come visit. It was sad!
Christina even came down from Portland to meet my Kindi girl.
My sister currently lives in Georgia and it was torture to not have her here to meet my daughter when she was born. I am so grateful that she is here to visit now though. Kindi got to meet her Aunt Jeni 2 days before she turned 1 month old.
Malaki didn't want to hold his new cousin Kindi, but he did inform us that 'He's so small'. Then he gently patted her on the head and said, 'He's kinda cute.' I loved it!
Kori wasn't so sure what she thought of her mommy holding another baby.
She does like to look at her and bring 'Baby' stuff to play with.
Amy
My cousins Angie and Amy brought my sister to see me after they picked her up at the airport.
Thanks guys!
Angie is hiding under that hair somewhere! :)

The Evolution of Bath Time.

Jeremy gave both of our babies their very first bath while we were in the hospital!
I enjoyed watching from my bed. He is being so careful with our Kindi girl.
Once we get home it is my job to do the sponge baths.
Whoa Mom what are you doing to me?
She is so small and beautiful!
Peeking out of her towel. Kindi doesn't enjoy her baths at all, and it takes a while for her to warm back up all the way. So I wrap her up in a big fluffy towel and carry and snuggle her until she is heated up again.
Baby tub! I don't really like these cause Kindi just tips over in them, but they are so convenient that I just deal with setting her upright again and again.
She is okay with the tub for a couple of minutes, so I am getting good at speed bathing!
My beautiful little girl!
Someday Kindi will get to play in the tub like her big brother!
Call me silly, but I think he is totally adorable when he plays on his tummy in the bath tub. Gotta love those cute little buns!

1 Month

My baby girl is already a month old. I can't believe how fast time is flying! I still have a lot of other pictures of her that I want to post, but I figured I would at least get these up in a timely manner! Enjoy.

Easter Sunday

I really struggle with getting my pictures in the right order! Oh, well.
Isn't he the most handsome little man!
I love buying Jeremy and Kaden matching clothes. I had to settle for close this time though, and I couldn't find any ties that were even close to Kaden's. But they sure are handsome boys!
There are no words for this picture!
Easter wheelbarrow from Grandma and Grandpa.
It had a really neat bubble gun in it!
Pushing his egg around. The grass didn't stay in the wheelbarrow very long!
These should have been first, oops!
Kaden was quite impressed when he got up and this basket was on the table for him.
Mom, I know what this is... CANDY!!!
Candy that rattles when you shake it! Double bonus!
And because it was a special occasion we let him have some candy before church!
Luckily we had time for a bath too!

And now we are up to Kindi's birth which I already posted about. Maybe I will get a chance soon to show you how much she has grown too.
