So I had every intention of posting this 4 months ago... obviously that didn't happen. I don't remember if I have told you that I have a screen saver on my computer that rotates through a folder of pictures. I put all of my favorites in that folder and get to enjoy them all day long... well as long as I'm not wasting all of my time sitting at the computer. I love to compare pictures of my kids at the same age. So enjoy.

Look Alike Contest.
Just for fun I thought I would compare the first four months of our children. It is fun to see the similarities!
Kaden had a lot more, but they both have wild hair!
Kindi has cheeks, but they can't compare to Kaden's! I see a lot of my sister in this one of Kindi, guess that probably means she looks a lot more like me then Kaden does! :)

The Many Faces of Kindi
So in case you hadn't heard yet... I think my daughter is absolutely beautiful! I can't get enough of her, so now I am going to share with you some of the many faces of my Kindi Kae! Enjoy!
I think I have mentioned before that she has a reflux problem so she sleeps in her car seat. She is getting active and aware enough now that she is starting to enjoy toys some. That butterfly on her car seat makes a delightful wind chime type sound!
This was the first time she had ever worn that hat. It doesn't work so well for sleeping though! It eventually ended up completely over her eyes.
Kissy face.
Beautiful smiles!
Peeking through the toys. She actually prefers to skip the toys on her bouncer seat and just watch me work in the kitchen, I guess the toys obstruct her view!
She knows she's cute!
You just can't help smiling back at a face that precious!
She is so close to laughing! When I tickle her she gets a little grunt out once in awhile. I can't wait to hear that first true chuckle!
She likes her arms up in the air just like her brother did.

A Snack and a Nap

Kaden enjoying eating a 'Bitter Biscuit' all by himself. I think he is trying to hide the disaster that he has made of his face!

Yikes! This boy is definitely going to need a bath tonight!

Kaden LOVED his blueberries.
Notice that he is getting my dimples in those chubby cheeks of his.
I bought him a really cool... I don't know what you call it... food net? It is shaped like a really big pacifier, but the sucky part (that is the technical term!) is a net. You open it up and put food into the net, then he can eat anything and I don't have to worry about him choking! He can't swallow it unless it is small enough to fit through the mesh. I froze some blueberries in it since he was teething. (He now has his top left tooth and the top right one is on the way.) He loved it and went through two more rounds of regular blueberries as well.

Covered in blueberry juice!

These pictures are a bit fuzzy, but I didn't want to use my flash and wake him up! He is totally a tummy sleeper these days. He loves to sleep in my bed, I often will take him in there when he gets sleepy (and I am tired too). We lay on the bed side by side and talk and sing until he falls asleep (I have to admit that I often nap with him this way!).

More recently he has been pulling his knees up and sleeping with his little bum up in the air! It is too cute!

A Weekend at the (original) Wells'
This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend and we spent it in Milton Freewater (my in-laws). Jeremy's cousin brought her little boy over to visit one of the days. Landon (I don't have a clue if that is how they spell it or not.) is 3 months older than Kaden... Bet you wouldn't have guessed that!
Hugs!
I love baby feet and hands! Tug O War
The girls had a 4 day old kitten that they are bottle feeding. Kaden thought it was pretty interesting when they let him touch it.
We spent quite a bit of time outside on Saturday. Grandma brought out a blanket and we laid on the lawn. Kaden can roll over now. He rolls from his back to his belly, most of the time he needs a finger to help him over the last bit, but once in awhile he can get it all by himself. One time he managed to roll from his belly to his back also, but he hasn't done that since. Now that he knows how to roll over on his tummy I think he may crawl after all. He sure wants to. He seems to have his back end figured out, but isn't quite sure how to properly use his arms... so he ends up sliding around on his face occasionally.
So I had my first 'bad mommy' experience. (Oh, wait... make that my second... I accidentally bumped his head on a banister the last time we were in MF, when he was only a week old.) We were outside in the shade of the trees all day so I didn't put sunscreen on my tender baby boy's skin. He got his first sunburn. Being my son, I'm sure it won't be his last, but I felt really bad. It was just a little bit pink, but I think it kept him up that night. Which brings me to another aspect of our trip...
Kaden decided that since we weren't home, sleeping at night wasn't necessary... So it was a long weekend. I think it was a combination of sunburn, not being home, and too much attention. He isn't used to being passed around and handled all the time. It didn't seem to bother him at all during the day, he was a wonderful trooper, but the nights.... oh, the nights!
Kaden is adored by his Papa, Great Grandma, and Grandma.

Kaden's First Suit
Do you know how hard it is to find a suit for a baby boy? There are adorable spring dresses everywhere, but nothing for baby boys. I checked every store in Albany and Corvallis. I just wanted a suit for church on Easter Sunday! Finally Mom, Morgan and I took Kaden up to Salem. I had a gift card to Toys R Us, surely they would have something... nope. Just across the street was the Baby Depot (an awesome store!) and they had two, that's right a total of TWO suits that would fit Kaden. One was pretty terrible, luckily I liked the other one:

So I of course had to go out and buy Daddy a matching shirt and tie! Aren't they handsome!

My two 'serious' men.
